In late November of 2022 TIEC attended the Ecological Society of Australia Conference in Wollongong, NSW in which many people attended such as different scientists, rangers, university students and others.
The 2022 theme for the conference was "RECONNECTING".
The conference had poster presentations, 5-minute speed talk, 15-minute oral presentations all Centred around their projects or research that related to 2022 conference theme.
Gerry and La Schaya also presented on TIEC's Bushtucker project during the Indigenous Symposium session.
During the weeklong conference there were also options of going on field trips, attending social events or networking events and even workshops.
